Fly now
You check in and appear on the map for other pilots, with the location blurred to ~500 m if you wish. It expires by itself.
The AirSpot pilot account
The zone map, the weather and the spots are already on the site, no account needed. The account adds the live part: who flies near you, alerts, logbook and community.
The first 200 to sign up become Founding Pilots: Pro free for 12 months + a permanent badge on their profile.
What you get with an account
Proximity alerts
You get a notification when someone checks in within the radius you choose, from 1 to 100 km.
Pilot logbook
Your flights, hours logged, statistics and badges, filled in from check-ins or by hand.
Your spots
You add places to fly with photos and reviews, with the legal status worked out automatically.
Community
Profiles, events at spots with RSVP and private messages.
Until then, on your phone
The native iOS and Android app is in the works and is not in the stores yet. The website can be installed on your phone like an app: open it in the browser and choose “Add to Home Screen” (iPhone: Share, then Add to Home Screen; Android: the browser menu, then Install app).
