There are tourists on the dam: do not fly over people. The dam and the hydropower facilities are infrastructure with restricted access: ask the operator before flying near them.

A reservoir in the Făgăraș Mountains with a 166 m arch dam, next to the Transfăgărășan road. You see the blue-green water, the forested slopes and the road climbing towards Bâlea.
